How to grow Rolling Tobacco, Part 1

Hello to all Growers out there.
Here is my tutorial on "How to grow your own Rolling Tobacco".

Before we start with Part 1, here are the facts and  items You will need to successfully overcome faze one.
Facts:
-Growing tobacco is legal.
-Tobacco is a hardy plant, which means it will grow almost anywhere where other crops will grow to.
-Preferred soils are the ones which drain well
-Use lighter soils to grow light colored tobacco, dark soils to grow dark colored tobacco
-Don't use two different kinds of tobacco seeds if you grow them in a limited space.
-The average time from seed to harvest tobacco is around 60-70 days
-Don't plan to grow if You are in a winter climate

Items:
-Tobacco seeds (use Virginia seeds if you grow for the first time and plan for cigarette consume)
-Small flower pots with a hole on the bottom
-Fertilizer, use natural if you can. Alternative is a special fertilizer for these kind of plants.
-Compost

Lets get started

Planting the seeds

1# Mix Your soil with the compost and fertilizer. Put that mixture in the small flower pots.
You can buy already mixed soil in one of the garden shops. Ask for tobacco mix if available.
.
2#  Now after having Your perfect soil mixture in the flower pots, its time to add the seeds.
Use Your fingers to lightly lift the seeds and spread them into the pots.
Note that the optimal number of seeds in one pot is not more then 10.
Do not bury the seeds under the soil! Leave them just the way you spread them on the soil.
After you spread all the seeds in the pots, use a water spray bottle and gently water the seeds.

3# Put the flower pots in a plastic tray, in that you already added water on the bottom.
This is crucial cause the soil will absorb the water from the tray, which then will be absorbed by the seeds.

4# Since the seeds are not ground covered, You will have to cover the pots.
The best thing You can use is aluminium foil.
Cover the pots along with the water trey to block sunlight.
Store Your seeds in an warm environment. Optimal is around 24-28 C or 75-80 F.

5# After around 4 days, remove the foil and take a look in the pots.
If everything is done correctly, You should notice little sproutlings emerging from the soil.
It should look something like this
-This is the time to expose Your seeds to Light.
-Choose a nice spot where Your seeds will be  exposed to light, but keep in mind that the  temperature should be around 25 C or 76F.
-Keep Your seeds watered
-Keep Your soil moisted.
-Refill Your water in the tray underneath your pots.
-Put a name tag in one of the pots, so that You    know which seeds You used.
-Leave the seeds for about a week on that spot and  make sure You follow all these instructions.
-I will post the Part 2 in two days, so stay tuned.

Rolling Tobacco, the future for Smokers

Fact is that more and more smokers out there are smoking their last cigarette today.
Why is that? Well, the first and most common reason is of course Health issues.
Today there are maybe more Anti smoker campaigns online then those who promote smoking. Well who can really blame them. Fact is, smoking is bad for your health.
Second and also a crucial reason why people stop with smoking is economics.
In the past 10 years the costs of active smokers went up beyond 300%. Why?
Well, like before mentioned these "Anti smoking campaigns" had an huge impact on society.
With so many smokers quiting, the tobacco industry "had no other choice" then to raise the prizes, resulting even more people to quit smoking. The smoking trend is slowly going down.
"I can remember when a pack of cigarettes was about 1,8$ in Croatia, today its 4$".
So with these negative sides of smoking many smokers wonder "Is there an alternative"?
Well, there is only one good alternative: Rolling homegrown tobacco
